Shipping Policy

Shipping charges for all online purchases at are calculated based on weight. Handling fees are included to cover packing materials and our time and costs. Occasionally, there is an error in the online shipping calculations and an adjustment is required. In that case, the customer is notified via email and must agree to the adjustment before the order will ship. The standard shipping method is UPS, with an occasional small package being sent USPS Priority Mail.

We attempt to ship all paid (and cleared) in-stock orders within three business days of order receipt. Large orders may take longer to ship. In that case, we will email customer with approximate ship date. A payment is considered cleared when is in receipt of the funds. If credit card information is entered incorrectly, or if the transaction is declined, the customer will be notified via email and the order will not ship until the problem is rectified. If paying by PayPal, it is cleared as soon as PayPal notifies us that the funds have cleared. Be aware, if you elect to pay by PayPal's eCehck method, that type of payment can take several days to clear. Credit card payments are cleared as soon as we process the charge and get an authorization. Credit card orders are not chaged until the order ships.

Supplies and equipment may be shipped to US and Canadian addresses only. Canadian orders may not be placed online - please call to place order. Please contact us for information regarding shipping syrup to international addresses.

Return Policy

All maple syrup sold online at (or through our distributors) is 100% satisfaction guaranteed. If you are not completely satisfied, simply notify us by telephone or email within 30 days of your payment date and we will ship you a replacement or refund your money less the initial shipping charges. We reserve the right to require that any portion of the opened syrup products be returned to us at buyer's expense before a substitute is shipped or a refund issued.

With regard to all other items sold online at, only unused, undamaged, and 100% complete items can be considered for a return or refund. With regard to refractometers (both Hanna Instruments and Misco), the manufacturers offer a one year warranty and any defective unit will be replaced with a new instrument only (no cash refunds). All other disputes concerning buyer satisfaction will be determined on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Shortages must be reported within 30 days of payment date. In order to qualify for a full refund less initial shipping costs, returned items must be received within 30 days of your payment date. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. It is recommended that a reliable and/or trackable shipping method is used, as is not liable for returned items never received.
